The Client
Lillian Benrubi is an accomplished psychotherapist with 30+ years of experience helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. Her practice deserved a digital space that matched her expertise - but her content-rich website was overwhelming visitors instead of guiding them.
The Challenge
Lillian's existing website suffered from information overload:
-
Visual chaos: Competing buttons and dense text created decision fatigue
-
Unstructured expertise: 30+ years of psychotherapy knowledge buried in long paragraphs
-
Barriers to care: No clear path to book sessions amidst the clutter
My Role
-
Organizing content: Restructuring decades of psychotherapy content into clear, digestible sections that guide users without overwhelming them.
-
Building website: Transforming a basic Weebly template into a professional yet warm interface by simplifying navigation and establishing visual hierarchy.
-
Booking: Redesigning the scheduling flow with stepped forms and automated confirmations to reduce friction for new clients.
-
UX Advocacy: Balancing Lillian’s clinical expertise with approachable design choices to create a welcoming digital space for vulnerable users.
Proposed Outcome
Lillian's new website will be organized and well presented.
-
Reducing primary actions from 12 competing buttons to 3 clear CTAs.
-
Increasing conversion rate for consultation requests.

Desiging a Flavourful Fusion of Cultures & Digital Presence
The Client
When three friends—Vivek, Pranjal, and Anish—opened Spice Nosh, a Mississauga eatery blending American brunch with Indian spices, they needed a brand identity and website that mirrored their bold, cross-cultural concept.
My Role
As someone who’s lived both culinary worlds, I crafted:
-
Discovery: Held deep-dive sessions to understand her audience’s emotional journey.
-
A website that tastes as good as the food: Customized a Wix template with warm tones, spice-inspired textures, and menu animations that tease the fusion experience.
-
Print & social media: Designed launch flyers, business cards and initial social creatives that highlighted their unique dishes.
Outcome
Sarah’s new website now reflects the safety and empowerment of her practice:
-
Sold-out Launch: My branding adorned their walls, menus, and promotional materials—creating instant recognition in the neighbourhood.
-
Seamless Handoff: Recognized the growing demands, I connected them with a trusted design agency to scale their social media sustainably.
-
Cultural Nuance: I didn’t just design—I tried bridging culinary traditions.

Aligning Digital Presence with Spiritual Purpose
The Client
Kris and Vani’s Lotus Meditation offers guided sessions and meditation music in Kitchener-Waterloo—but their website felt disconnected from the tranquility of their in-person experiences.
My Role
As someone who’s lived both culinary worlds, I crafted:
-
Website Clarity: Restructured their site to highlight their unique offerings (like breathing techniques) with calming visuals and intuitive navigation.
-
Event Visibility Boost: Integrated Eventbrite for seamless class sign-ups, increasing event attendance by 30%.
-
Social Media Harmony: Created Instagram templates that mirrored their serene aesthetic, using soft gradients and mindful messaging.
Outcome
As both designer and weekly sound healer (playing drums at their events), I bridged the digital and spiritual:
-
"Your website now feels like walking into our space" — Vani
-
First-time attendees often mention: "I found you through that Eventbrite link!"
